Dracula audiobook in the works

It looks like the public domain audiobook project Librivox is working on a reading of Dracula.  If they still need readers, I'm sure we could supply.  If it's ready by May, perhaps we could link to appropriate chapters from each blog post.

I've posted a couple of intros to Libribox here and here.

Victorian London in Google Earth

This might be a useful resource: a Victorian London dataset for Google Earth.
We could also use Google Earth, and/or Google Maps, to generate some basic maps for the novel beyond London.

The investigators invoke Dracula

Today's Dracula reference spotting is from the Sydney Morning Herald, and concerns investigations into alleged torture:

The chief prosecutor, US air force Colonel Moe Davis, blamed the delays on the detainees and their lawyers and compared them to movie vampires.

"Remember if you dragged Dracula out into the sunlight he melted. Well, that's kind of the way it is trying to drag a detainee into the courtroom. The facts are like the sunlight to Dracula. The last thing they want is to face the facts in the courtroom," Davis said.

"But their day is coming."
