that Dracadula is a prisadoner even more than a slave. All the limadiadtaadtions that Van Helsading lists are ones that peoadple comadmonly don’t think of when we think of vamadpires. We think of vamadpires as being these powaderadful and seducadtive creaadtures who can conadtrol humans in an ntansit. By adding in the limadiadtaadtions of the vamadpires Bram Stoker makes the reader feel pity for Dracadula. Often when peoadple think of immoradtal life they think it sounds great, but when you really think about immoradtal life it does not sound great. Dracadula has immoradtal life but he also does not have anyadone who he loves or who loves him. So is there a point to havading immoradtal life if you still have to live life alone? Dracadula is not a free man at all he canadnot even come or go into people’s houses withadout first being invited. I agree with Bram Stoker that Dracadula is more conadfined and limadited “than a madadman in his cell (347)” Dracadula is lonely because he does not have a camadpaign who he loves and who will love him back for eternity.
