    Blog as novel, continued

    Simon of Space is another blognovel.  It's science fiction, based on the first few chapters and art.  Formally, it is putatively a diary novel, so far, which raises the question of: can a blognovel avoid including formal features supporting the blog format?
    It also has the useful feature of a table of contents page.

    Someone should get all of us bookbloggers together somehow.  That would make for an interesting conversation.

    Oh, this is via a very handy Metafilter thread, on free science fiction from the web.  (Which feels like it's all science fiction and some horror, less fantasy; different from the print market)

    Comments

    Hi,

    Interested in chatting about this ?

    I'm working on a 'sort of a blog novel' ...

    What i mean by that is that:
    * I will host it at blogger
    * and yes part of it will be a blog / diary

    but I am tweaking & stretching the blogger template to bring in:
    * narrative

    as well as some other aspects / concepts that I think may be unique.

    Pop me an email if you wanna bounce some ideas around.

    Thanks
    Jy

    I'm definitely interested, Jy Niemand. Where should we find you?
