NYT rubs the internet addiction itch

Internet, threat or menace? part 7001: the New York Times returns to the old internet addiction meme.
Old: this stuff started appearing in the mid-1990s. 

The article isn't in full scary-internet mode, as some phrases sound tongue in cheek, and there's one interjection by a credentialed critic.  But it does nudge the child-fear angle, with a glance at teenagers.
