    La Jetée on YouTube

La Jetée (Chris Marker, 1962) is essential viewing for humans.  This is why we have science fiction.  I teach and show it whenever possible.  Now La Jetée has hit the GooTube:

    • The whole thing in one go, at Google Video.  English voiceover, alas.
    • In original, spoken French, with Spanish subtitles (parts one, two, three).
    • A nicely done trailer

For good measure, someone's webbed up the script.

While we're at it, more Chris Marker on the web, please.

(thanks to Warren Ellis for the reminder)
