Firefox ramping up the social, heading past Flock

Firefox is working on a social networking feature called Coop.

Flock_logo Techcrunch and others note that this competes directly with the Flock browser.  I've been using Flock for more than a year, and enjoyed the integration with Flickr and del.icio.us.  Firefox clearly has the marketing edge.  Hopefully the competition will allow each project to grow in complementary, mutually challenging ways, with the result being a better browser experience for a lot of people.

    Hey Bryan,

That's exactly how we feel. Thanks for using Flock; I hope our usefulness will continue to engage you regardless of marketing resources. :)
