Here's a fine mashup, actually an imaginative re-editing of O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000), as a horror movie. Short, elegant, spooky.

Bryan,
You're quite right, this isn't so much a mashup as it is an imaginative re-editing. I think the term mashup has become so fast and loose for me that I am starting to apply it to just about everything that is remixed. Thanks for the link and I am glad I could begin to repay the accumulating debt of all the wonderful links I get from Infocult -I constantly use the Foucault/Chomsky video, still haunt the Muppets Wiki, remain transfixed by the Bert I video, and I am ever more excited about the Transformers movie. All thanks to the best speed metal Goth blog in town :)
