    Gaming and Web 2.0: competitive social software use

    "WebGame 2.0" explores one aspect of the gaming/web 2.0 connection, namely the habit of using web 2.0 apps as competitive games.  The author describes competitive friending, ranking, and editing.

    The intersection between web 2.0 and gaming is a huge and deep one, ramifying in complexity the more one pokes at it.  I barely scratched the surface on Monday.
