Bryan,
This makes me think of Corey Doctorow's story, "Scroogled", which was published in Radar Magazine.

The story ties FOG, the "Google-stalking" meme, and fear of government surveillance together nicely. Personally, a Google DHS alliance of the type Doctorow describes gives me the willies!
