This nice ad uses Craigslist to stage a short Gothic story.
The previous tenants disappeared without a trace before their lease was up, so it is available for immediate move-in.
...I am required by law to inform you that previous tenants have reported "disturbances" in the house. Some have reported strange noises, and some, believe it or not, reported things moving by themselves. One family, whose child ran away, even blamed it on the house....
However, I have shown this home many times, and even spent one night in it, and I can attest that apart from a few strange sounds, creaking noises and mysterious drafts, there is nothing spooky about this place at all...
Like the old ghost-in-a-jar story, the web sales mechanism gets repurposed for the story. Web 2.0 ramps up the social connections around it.

Oh! a haunted house for rent? Maybe if I rent that house, I keep my self not to sleep. Hahahaha... Interesting.
