Facebook the suicide machine
Facebook can increase the likelihood that teenagers will kill themselves: so says a major British psychiatrist, speaking to the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
It may be possible that young people who have no experience of a world without online societies put less value on their real world identities and can therefore be at risk in their real lives, perhaps more vulnerable to impulsive behaviour or even suicide.
Consider this another piece of Facebook horror.

geez....absolutely NO data to back that up yet it is published. Insanity.

ok, after reading actual research, the British psychologist twisted the results to meet his own agenda.
The whole notion of a "suicide cult" rooted in a social network was dismissed in February. Looks like mindhacks is about 5 months late on this one.
