The trippiest bicentennial
"Bicentennial" is an awesome short animated film all about America, or how great the US is, or the kinds of stuff we remember. It's frantically psychedelic, and published by the federal government: Like a document sneaking into our world from an alternate history, where Phil Dick beat Dick Nixon for president. Just watch:

Awesome. I believe that Vincent Collins also created some trippy animated shorts for Sesame Street back in the 70s. Similar to the pinball series, but I don't think he did that particular ones.

Seems more Schoolhouse Rock than Sesame Street. Ever see the "Lebensraum" - sorry, "Elbow Room" - short about manifest destiny? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=twFs9Vk6F0A

I know I've seen those, Becka. Some weirdly trippy part of my childhood.
Great catch, Ed!
