What video game offenses parents most fear

What offends American parents most, when it comes to video game content?  USA Today provides a summary, revealing that the most dire offense concerns sex, of course:

As predictable as it is disheartening. Be as crude and violent as you like, just don't have any physical contact that could be construed as affectionate. I blame Disney. Or possibly J Edgar Hoover.

The problem with this survey is its really hard to take a bunch of disgusting things and then say which is the worst. Because the surveyors never get to defend their argument. I am sure that most of those surveyed are fans of sex. They have the kids right. They just don't like how it is presented in video games.

    It certainly is consistent, Ed.

Kyle, do you think these parents' views on video games are similar to their views of movies and tv?

I recommend reading about the parental reactions to the (critically acclaimed, I recommend it personally) game Mass Effect. I'm having a hard time finding the original Fox News rant about it.

At any rate, here's a good start.
