Here's another republishing story by blog: "Flowers for Algernon", the short story (Daniel Keyes, 1959).  It's all done now, so if you haven't read the story, don't start from the top!  Here's the entire thing; read from the bottom up.

This MetaFilter post has a brilliant suggestion for blogs in general, based on this case: how about a reverse order button?  A reader clicks it, and the blog appears in reversed chronological order.

I absolutely *despise* this book. I had to read it way back in school.

My lit teacher, who was very encouraging of us to challenge and question, said, after I gave my not-so-glowing review, "if you don't like this book, you have no heart."

To which I was able to reply, without repercussion, "If you DO like this book you have no brain."

I agree to you steve M., the teacher was wrong to impose their opinion,everyone have to respect the feelings of others. Anyway,you have to fight for your rights. Just keep up the good work.
