One heart, one woman; two marriages, two transplants, two suicides. This Augusta news story is a fine Gothic tale, hard to summarize, and worth reading in full. There's a serial wife with the amazing name of Cheryl Sweat, a "Hands of Orlac" style personality change, a potentially cruel use of April 1st, and - just read it, that little slice of Georgian Gothic.
(somebody sent this to me: who?)
Me, but I may not be the only one. It reminded me of that John Irving novel, the Fourth Hand.
