Choose your own Youtube: The Time Machine

"The Time Machine" is a branching narrative, a la Choose Your Own Adventure, but based in YouTube.  It's a series of short videos, each ending with a question.  Each answer links to a different clip.  Start with this one.

In terms of Web 2.0 storytelling, it certainly some of the core elements - microcontent, an engaging story.

Okay, didn't get very far into it but I suggest it for a way to waste time, maybe during work, maybe just to kill some time, each choice is about two to two and a half minutes long.

Easily entertaining and very well down, especially on youtube. Very nice redoing of a classic well...chose your own style.

Should we say it was only a matter of time? That it's a little sad we haven't seen more of this before? How do they get the links embedded at the end like that? I'm assuming it's a newer feature of Youtube? Just curious.

@JL421, I agree about how well it's situated to YouTube as a platform (or format). I wonder how it would play if length varied - imagine clips at 30 seconds, then 5 minutes.

@Brett B, I don't know how the links are done. Good question.
