A Brazilian politician decided to make cyberpunk real, or live the postmodern Gothic dream. Whichever way, one Wallace Souza is being charged with having people killed in order to boost his tv ratings.
"Our investigations indicate that they went as far as creating facts," Thomaz Augusto Correa, the local police intelligence chief, told a Brazilian news channel. "Crimes were committed in order to create news for the group and for the programme."
This would explain why Souza was always first on the scene after a murder.
Of course Souza defends himself by evoking another, also pulp fiction story. He's being framed, by the mob.
(via Warren Ellis; it's his world, now, and we just live in it as best we can)
Hmmm... I think I've seen this story in an anime detective series.

There are a number of reasons to suspect that poor sleeping habits contribute to an increased risk of breast or prostate cancer. Prime evidence for this comes from a Norwegian study showing that totally blind women have a decreased risk of breast cancer compared to sighted women. The effect was only seen in the totally blind, as there was no such protective effect from any degree ofsfd sight disability other than total blindness.
