An American soldier dies while his wife watches over Skype. He was deployed in the Middle East, while his wife was back home in the US:
"Bruce's wife [Susan Orellana-Clark] tragically witnessed her husband's death during one of their regular Skype video chats," the statement said.
I can't determine how the death actually happened. One account claims a mysterious bullet hole:
"Clark was suddenly knocked forward," the statement said. "The closet behind him had a bullet hole in it.
CNN reports the military is investigating.
There hasn't been a lot of spooky talk around Skype so far, which is interesting. The exception I find is from a few months ago (BBC); perhaps we're seeing an incipient wave of Skype terror.
