How do we think about zombies? A new mapping project offers some interesting answers. Among them is the finding that zombies are seriously Anglo-American.
Here is where zombie mania occurs around the world:
Largely a Western thing, plus a little bit of Japan.
Now take a look at how some folks would respond to a zombie pandemic. First, Europe:
Perhaps Russians will deal with the zombies using... other means.
Now compare with the US:
So the leading zombie meme is from the US and UK, featuring violent locals blasting away with shotguns.
