Something I've always wondered about: "the Korea." Is that just a contemporary reference to the Korean Peninsula, or am I missing something?


@Stephen Looked thisnow up in Klingers Antonation to the book: The country, a ship or a tavern/gentlemen's club could be meant here.

The last two options are making most sense for me.
