« Letter, Lucy Westenra to Mina Murray | Main | Once more I have seen the count go out in his lizard fashion. »

William Thompson

In the 1943 movie "Son of Dracula," one of the characters is shown reading Stoker's "Dracula." The camera focuses on the manuscript page for a moment, highlighting the two lines that begin with "What manner of man is this?" This may be the first time the novel itself was referenced in a movie about Dracula.

That's a fun fact. I'm ashamed to say I have never seen "Son of Dracula". I'll look for it in the usual streaming venues. Thanks!
