Mina seems puzzled by Lucy’s uneasiness, and puts it down to her sleepwalking and disturbed sleep. However Lucy may privately be having mixed emotions about Mina’s favourite seat, now that it is connected not just with a suicide but also with the far more recent death of Mr. Swales. Lucy is keeping her concerns to herself, though, in the face of Mina’s example.
