I'm reading K.W. Jeter's Noir right now, a bit slowly, given its textual detail and my schedule. It's very interesting (and typically bleak), something like a mix of Chip Delany and Jack Womack, with Jeter's classic darkness and brooding.
There's a copyright aspect, which I'll return to. Note: more for the literature of copyright, and even the literature of information.
As an experiment, I'm annotating it by wiki. Please feel free to post - see my notes there.
If this works out, I'll do the same for my (overdue) Gibson notes.
