A fresh example of one type of literature of information: "The Factwhore Proposition" , by Charles Coleman Finlay, over at Futurismic. It's a grim, witty tale of one future for information work.

I'm still mulling over my thoughts on "The Factwhore Proposition" - initial reaction is that it's very much based on Google Answers and what might happen to public reference librarians. Not necessarily what might happen to corporate librarians.
