I got an iPod to understand the platform, the ergonomic buzz, the immense and paradoxical combination of satisfaction and desire it appeared to engender. I got one to understand why iTunes was important, and what the Apple model of downloadable music was all about. The result was love, loathing, skepticism, and admiration. Okay, loathing is too strong, unless I think about how overpriced these adorable daemons are.
Terrific parody!
