I haven't seen the film of V for Vendetta yet. Critics are divided - Wolcott: "most subversive". Variety: "flat". MTV: "it will kick your ass".
It's one of my favorite comic books, starting back when I read the first 2/3rds in black and white, as episodes in issues of Warrior, with David Lloyd's gloriously understated black and white art. I'm not happy that Alan Moore is against it. I still admire the first Matrix movie.
