The US Centers for Disease Control (CDC) campaign against computer gaming continues. WaterCoolerGames reports the publication of several new commercials. My favorite one seems to recommend we drive racing cars, rather than play games about that:
As Ian notes,
Does the CDC want gamers to go out and race real cars? That hardly seems useful.
If you race cars for real, you're much more likely to die quickly in a fiery wreck than burden the overwhelmed public health system with your obese, heart diseased self. Unless of course those pesky safety features on the cars allow you to live on as a quadrapelegic.
Hmm. Perhaps the CDC should go up against seat belts and helmets.
