My wife sent me this very weird crime story. It begins with a spectacular, mysterious assault, something out of classic pulp fiction. Then it gets stranger, as the assailant's identity works through several psychodramas.
Ceredwyn and I were both reminded of the pizza delivery man collar bomber. Each case features dramatic crimes, with perps unknown. We dreamed up explanations and theories. Could there be an underground movement for art crime, criminal performance art? Maybe it's the work of the same group, determined to create such a movement. Was the medical exminer a member of such a group?
Thinking further, and ARGishly: what are the boundaries of these crimes? For example, perhaps there are crimes which have not yet surfaced (bodies awaiting discovery). Some could be in process now. What's part of the operational setup? You could be already in-game.
Ah, this could make for a fun story...
