La Jetée (Chris Marker, 1962) is essential viewing for humans. This is why we have science fiction. I teach and show it whenever possible. Now La Jetée has hit the GooTube:
- The whole thing in one go, at Google Video. English voiceover, alas.
- In original, spoken French, with Spanish subtitles (parts one, two, three).
- A nicely done trailer
