That is really lovely. I've been starting to look at the online memorials for the dead. Some are sappy, some are creepy, and some are heartbreakingly beautiful.

During the paleo-web period, a friend and I came up with a business idea to create "e-stones" - electronic gravestones that would be web sites paid for on the cemetery model: buy a static plot / web space that just sits there for years and years, but visitors could leave comments and (e-)flowers... tastefully, of course ;)

But we didn't do it since we figured the big mortuary companies already had the in on that one since they were doing videotape memorials and other add ons...
