A new twist on Mexico's real-life Gothic comes straight out of pulp horror: disposing of murder victims with acid baths.
[A]uthorities arrested Santiago Meza Lopez in January. Known as "the soupmaker", the 45 year old man has admitted that he made about 300 bodies, victims of murderers for hire, disappear by dissolving them in acid baths.
MSNBC calls him "the Pozole maker", explaining helpfully: "after a local stew."
