Here's a nifty augmented reality storytelling project. QR codes were attached to public spaces in Amsterdam:
the project features seven large QR codes that when photographed on a web-ready cell phone link viewers to small stories, poems or proverbs by dutch writers and poets.
I wonder how this plays out in 2010. How many people recognize QR codes? How many scan 'em?

I was just last night thinking about using QR codes for a new project.

Hey Bryan, I actually started a new QR based work in October. "Code:Drift" debuted at this year's Conflux Festial in NYC and we had around 200 scans in about a week. Not bad. Here's a link to the project:

The band Dispatch, who formed at Middlebury, has started a campaign using QR codes on their facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/dispatch?v=wall. It's interesting to read the comments, most people understood what to do with the code.

Go for it, Steve B.
Greg, cool! The comment box amputated your URL, though. Can you TinyURL it?
Very cool, Ryan.
