The American city of Pittsburgh is now vying for a spot on the American Gothic map. Enough with Richard Florida's sunny assessment; now it's time for the dark side.
First, it has a fine history, and not just for 1960s-era environment horror (which counts). It's a center for American zombieness, starting with George Romero.
Second, a bunch of sometimes boozed-up ninjas have been causing a ruckus.
Third, consider the map snapshot in the post. It's obvious that Pittsburgh is at the center of a mass of writing, continental tentacles.
