Or that's what some locals say. Sava Savanović was one of several Serb "historical vampires" - actual people whom others accused of vampirism. Long dead, the house he once lived in collapsed, inspiring neighbors to fear undead wandering.
Interestingly, old-school Savanovic apparently stalked peasants bringing grain to be milled. Reminds this writer of the final scene in Vampyr (1932).
