One source offers an intriguing horror tale from recent Libya. Google Translate offers this:

Libya Herald offers some corroboration:
The [International Commission on Missing Persons] also found two positive matches not connected to Bin Jawad which, it said, pertained to “persons whose unidentified mortal remains were kept in a refrigerator in a Tripoli hospital since 1984.”
To be clear, these are old crimes, not stemming from the recent civil war.
